Do you really need case fans?
It is always our recommendation that you buy cases with a minimum of 3 fans (or at least slots for adding them yourself) for gaming systems, not counting the power supply, CPU, and GPU fans.
I know we say this about a lot of things (especially power supplies), but you really don’t want to skimp on cooling..
Are 2 case fans enough?
Yes it will be perfectly fine. Just make sure you have one as exhaust near the back by the CPU cooler, and the other as intake below the graphics card. Adding any more fans will only slightly boost your performance.
Are 140mm fans better than 120mm?
On top, they should cost you not more than 10-35 dollars. By and large, we find both fans good for a good reason. For the finest performance and airflow benefits, the 140mm case fan is ideal. If you prefer a budget-friendly good cooling fan for your PC case, then the 120mm case fans are your best bet.
Are Noctua fans the best?
The best PC fan: Noctua NF-S12B Redux-1200 Noctua has been making some of the best fans and coolers for almost 15 years and it isn’t showing any signs of slowing. Its NF-S12B Redux-1200 fan is an excellent example of that.
Why are RGB fans so expensive?
It has to do with cost of goods manufactured and cost of raw materials. In this case the cost of materials needed for Corsair’s fans is high, so the price of the product is going to be high. If the cost of materials were lower, the price would be lower.
Is RGB overrated?
Colourful lights. It’s kind of overrated and people (especially kids), use it to show off even though RGB doesn’t necessarily mean your PC is good. … His cooler is the only RGB thing in his PC but that’s because of the free cooler you get from Ryzen 7.
Are RGB fans worth it?
RGB is only necessary if you want your system to run faster(R), run efficiently(G), and run cooler(B). Downsides to RGB fans is that they will make you and your PC look even more tacky than a ricer.
Is 1 case fan enough?
I recommend at least 2 fans. One for intake and one for exhaust for best results. You can get by with just one fan though if you are careful. Fans are like $5-10 though so it really shouldn’t be an issue.
Should I install case fans first?
No. You especially don’t need a 3090 if you’re asking if your CPU or PSU is good enough. Put the $800 you’ll save by getting a 3080 elsewhere in your build, such as your monitor so you can actually enjoy the full potential of the card.
Where do case fans plug into?
You connect case fans to the motherboard, starting with the CPU_FAN label on your motherboard to your CPU fan. This is important because your BIOS often tracks fan speeds to the CPU and may prevent the computer from booting if a CPU fan is not detected. Your graphics card often has a fan or two of its own.
Does the h510 have good airflow?
Standardized Fans Standardizing the fans kept the CPU thermals in the H510 Elite well below the Enso in temperatures, at 56 to 67 degrees over ambient, so the airflow isn’t inherently worse in the Elite–it’s just loud.

Do Case Fans make a difference?
That being said, extra case fans can help a little since your card’s cooler dumps excess heat into your case rather than exhausting out the back, but it probably won’t make a huge difference.
Are stock case fans good enough?
I think stock case fans are good enough, if they came from good case manufacturer. You won’t notice the temperature and noise difference, if you REPLACE them with even the best aftermarket fans.
Do you need a fan in the back of the case?
If you have a passive GPU cooler: Yes, you do need the exhaust fan. It not only provides cooling, but directs the flow of air though your case. … That is, if your case has rear-side-front-top entrances, top and rear fans should be exhaust fans of hot air and front-side fans should be insertion of cool fresh air.
Is it better to have more intake or exhaust fans?
More exhaust than intake = hot air exits faster. more intake than exhaust increases pressure in the case which forces air out the case faster as air always flows from regions of high pressure to regions of low pressure. either way, doesnt really matter too much.
Does the NZXT h510 need extra fans?
No, they are not enough. You need (And it would be wise) to install a pair of front intake fans as well. Preferably some variety of 140mm PWM fans.
Are deepcool fans good?
I’ve been using Deepcool products on an off for a while now and for a good reason. Everything I’ve used from them has been surprisingly good and I am no less impressed by these fans. They move a good amount of air without being overly noisy even at higher RPMs. They also look really cool lit up.
